The current Admininstration's efforts to move the US Department of Education's OCR to the Department of Justice (DOJ) will have an impact on what we discuss at the Annual 504 Conference in 2027. However, the law has not changed, nor has any guidance from OCR changed or been rescinded. It is expected that federal fund recipients, such as public schools, will continue to comply with Section 504's educational requirements.
